Last week we dropped our Witch Hazel Facial Toners (Rosewater, Tea Tree, and Lavender) and wrote a blog on why you should make Witch Hazel your new skincare best-friend. It’s obvious we love using Witch Hazel for happy, healthy skin but do you know of all the different ways you can use it?
1. Bye, bye, bye blemishes
Our Rosewater Witch Hazel has skin-soothing properties that help calm angry, blemished skin. Witch Hazel has anti-inflammatory and astringent properties, which is just a fancy A-word that means it helps firm and refine in. Mist some product on a cotton round and lightly tap on problem areas (or as we like to say spray and dab) to visibly reduce the appearance of blemishes.
2. Washing hair > everything else
We don’t know about you, but nothing feels as satisfying to us as washing hair after a hard day. Our Tea Tree Witch Hazel has soothing and clarifying properties that not only rid the hair of excess oils and product buildup, but help calm scalp dryness. Making a DIY hair rinse is easy. Get a bowl and then mix:
After all the products are mixed together, gently message into the scalp and let it sit for fifteen minutes before rinsing off. Don’t forget to bask in the beauty of your hair afterward. Maybe post a picture on the gram and tag us so we can see.
3. No more puffiness
Have you ever pulled an all-nighter or stayed up too late watching E-network just to find yourself with puffy eyes the next morning? Witch Hazel can help. A natural astringent (there goes that A-word again), Witch Hazel helps diminish the look of swollen under eyes and paired with lavender, provides a calming effect. Cut a cotton round in half, spray some product, rest it under your eyes and let our Lavender Witch Hazel do its magic! Just be careful not to get any in your eyes. Ouch!
