Massages provide multiple benefits for the body and the mind. But did you know that the oils you use have a direct impact on how the massage will make you feel? Almond oil, for example, makes a great base for body massages for several reasons.
For one, Almond Oil is a great moisturizer, and only 4 ounces are enough for a full body massage. Second, massaging your skin regularly with Almond Oil will help you fight aging signs, fade stretch marks and scars, and reduce inflammation.
But probably one of my favorite benefits of Almond Oil, is that it can be mixed with your favorite essential oil. Each essential oil provides a separate set of benefits, but using them as massage oil on their own is not practical, that is why we mix them with Almond Oil. Finally, you also want to warm the oil in the microwave for 20 seconds. This will allow for the oil to be absorbed more quickly by the skin.
So to create the perfect Almond Oil::
- Warm 4 ounces or half a cup of Almond oil fro 20 seconds in the microwave.
- Add 10-20 drops of you favorite essential oil.
- It’s ready!
