Avocados are popular with good reason. The fruit (yes, it’s a fruit) is fatty- acid rich and a natural source of skin-loving vitamin A, which helps support cells so skin can feel supple, as well as vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps combat against oxidative stress that can lead to fine lines and wrinkles. Like so many of our products, our Avocado Oil is made using a single-ingredient—avocados, and is cold-pressed to retain its natural aroma, color, and nutrients.
Why you need it
Avocado Oil is a full of fatty acids and vitamins that deeply nourish and hydrate dry areas. It is especially beneficial for those with very dry skin. Avocado Oil's naturally thick consistency helps trap-in moisture to keep skin hydrated and smooth –without feeling greasy.
How to use
Our Avocado Oil, like most of our beauty products, is multipurpose and can be used on the face, body, hair, even nails! Use our oil
as a moisturizer
Apply a small amount of oil using the fingers or a cotton round and apply onto a clean face or over body.
as a hair mask
To make an Avocado Oil deep conditioning hair mask, you will need to mix 2 tablespoons of Avocado Oil and 2 tablespoons of our Coconut Oil in a bowl. If you have a lot of hair, feel free to increase both oils in equal measure. Add in a few drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil and stir well before applying in hair—starting from the scalp and working your way to ends. Since this hair mask is so rich, it is especially beneficial for thicker, curly hair types to hydrate and smooth frizzy flyaways. Leave the mask in for 10 minutes before rinsing.
as a sugar scrub
Sugar scrubs can help leave skin glowing, soft, and supple by exfoliating away dead skin cells and lifting away dirt and excess oil. To make a DIY Avocado Oil sugar scrub, measure one cup of brown sugar and ½ cup of Avocado Oil into a bowl. As an optional boost, you can add a few pumps of our Vitamin E Oil. Bonus tip – before using this scrub, drop in a bath bomb and soak in the bath first. This will help soften the outer layers of skin and make it easier to exfoliate.
as a makeup remover
Pour a bit of oil onto a cotton ball or cotton pad and gently rub over areas with makeup. Your mascara, eyeshadow and other makeup should remove cleanly and quickly.
as a massage oil
Avocado Oil spreads easily and is a perfect choice for use as a massage oil. You can use Avocado Oil alone, or mix it with a drop or two of a soothing essential oil like Lavender Oil, which contains naturally calming properties to help promote feelings of bliss.
as a nail oil
Since Avocado Oil is so naturally moisturizing it can help soothe dry, cracked cuticles and keep nails healthy. Using a cotton swab, gently rub the oil over and around nails. It’s that easy!
