Do It Yourself - Pumpkin Spiced Candles

If you’re like us, then you can’t resist pumpkin spiced anything during the fall season. Lattes, baked goods, you name it – the scent of pumpkin spice is the perfect accompaniment to this time of year, which is why we made DIY Pumpkin Spice Candles! These easy to make candles are the perfect gift for your friends and loved ones, and they hardly take any time to make.

What You Need

How to Do It:

  1. Place the wicks in your jars and secure them to the bottom of your jar with hot glue, or metal adhesive wick holders. Keep your wick steady and centered by tying the top of it to a pencil and balancing the pencil over your jar, or balancing two pencils on either side of the wick (if your wick isn’t malleable enough to tie to the pencil).

  2. Melt the Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and your spices together using the double boiler method. The more spice mix you add here, the more fragrant your candle will be – so don’t be afraid to go crazy! Don’t worry about the color, as the wax dries the candle’s color will lighten.

  3. Once melted pour a small amount into your candle jar and let it harden slightly to secure the wick, then slowly pour more of your wax into your jars, letting each layer dry slightly before pouring more wax.

  4. Once you’ve poured your wax, let your candles sit for about 2 hours or until they’ve hardened fully before lighting.

  5. Light your candles and bask in the fall vibes!
