Micellar Water 101
Micellar Waters have quickly become all the rage in the beauty world but many are still wondering how exactly they work, and what makes them so effective at removing makeup and cleansing your skin.
Put simply, Micellar Waters are powered by Micelles, tiny cleansing oil molecules that are carried in soft water. Micelles + Water = Micellar Water! The cleansing oil molecules attract dirt, grime, and makeup on your skin allowing you to gently sweep it all away without tugging at your skin or stripping it of its healthy oils and moisture.
The best part about Micellar Waters? They don’t leave an oily residue behind like many conventional makeup removers, meaning there is no rinsing required after use.
Our Organic Micellar Cleansing Waters
When designing our Organic Micellar Waters, we knew we wanted our formulas to do more than just remove your makeup. Which is why we kept the bad stuff out and kept only the finest natural ingredients, such as Aloe Vera, Rose Water, and Glycerin, in. It’s also why we decided to create two distinct formulas to cater to your skin type. Our Dry and Sensitive Skin Formula is infused with soothing rose water to moisturize skin and calm redness and inflammation, while our formula for Normal to Combination skin features balancing Aloe Vera juice to refresh and hydrate the skin. By using the best skin loving ingredients, we were able to ensure that your skin has everything it needs after each use: balance, moisture, and clarity.
Not Sure How to Incorporate Micellar Water into Your Routine?
To remove stubborn eye makeup, soak a cotton round in the water and hold it over your closed eye for 5 seconds as the makeup dissolves, before gently wiping away. Sweep the Micellar soaked pad over the rest of your face and neck to remove sunscreen and face makeup. Then wash your face with your usual cleanser.
You can even use the Micellar Water as a gentle morning cleanse by sweeping a soaked cotton pad over your face, neck and chest when you wake up in the morning. Follow with your usual serums and moisturizers.
You can also use our Micellar Water as a balancing toner, after cleansing and before moisturizer.
