As a standalone, coconut oil is a moisturizing powerhouse, but infused with vitamin e, the two become a wonder team that help nourish hair, skin, and even cuticles. Below are some of our favorite ways to use it.

Deep Conditioning Mask

Regularly deep conditioning hair helps prevent damage like split ends and maintains moisture.

Making a deep condition mask is easy. Mix your favorite conditioner with two to three tablespoons of coconut oil infused with vitamin e. Make sure to melt the coconut oil in a small dish for 30 seconds so it can mix easily into the conditioner. For even more of a boost, add a tablespoon of Organic Castor Oil and your preferred essential oil into the mix before applying the mask to your hair. Wait 20-30 minutes before washing it out, and then bask in the lusciousness of hydrated hair!

Styling Cream

If your hair always seems to be tangled, frizzy, and impossible to manage coconut oil with vitamin e can help. Coconut oil is thick enough to coat individual hair strands and help slick flyaway strands down. The oil’s ultra-hydrating powers also help to soften hair so it’s easier to comb through.

Cuticle Cream

Skin peeling around your cuticles is annoying at best and painful at worse, leaving marks and rough skin around your nail beds. Vitamin E is full of antioxidants that help protect skin and diminish the appearance of dark marks and scars while coconut oil helps moisturize and soften nail beds to prevent future skin peeling.

Foot Soak

Everyone hates dry, cracked heels. That’s why we recommend treating your feet to a foot soak weekly! An easy DIY foot soak recipe to follow:

Fill a pedicure bowl halfway with water and add

1/4 cup of heated Coconut Oil with Vitamin E

3-4 drops of Lavender Essential Oil

Add ½ cup of Epsom Salt

Dip your feet in and let them soak for 15 minutes. While soaking, you can use a pumice to gently scrub away dead skin.

Whipped Body Butter

Making your own whipped coconut oil body butter is easy. Make sure the coconut oil is solid and then place half of the container in a mixer. Place your mixer on medium and let it do the hard work! If you want to make your body butter even more nourishing, you can add a couple drops of your favorite essential oils in the mixer.
