Our Product
Standards
Simple. Pure. Potent.
Sky Organics is committed to creating simple products made with pure and potent ingredients. We only include ingredients in our products that have a clear purpose and benefit; and we do our best to communicate each ingredient’s purpose and benefit on our labels. We don’t believe in diluting our formulas with inexpensive or synthetic fillers because we believe all ingredients in our formulas should be included at potent levels. While it is a common practice in the beauty industry to include ingredients in formulas at trace and ineffective levels, we feel this practice is deceptive. You will find our ingredient lists presented in the internationally standardized and globally accepted INCI (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) format to provide full ingredient transparency.
Certifiably-better Beauty
Sky Organics is committed to expanding our use of organic ingredients and maintaining organic certification on products representing over 80% of our revenue. We pursue USDA Organic Certification whenever possible, but also have some products certified to the NSF/ANSI 305 Standard for Personal Care Products Made With Organic Ingredients and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). For products where organic certification is not possible due to material limitations of organic certifications, such as products made with minerals, clays and salts, we are still committed to using pure and potent ingredients sourced from nature.
Why Organic is Better
There are three foundational reasons behind our commitment to organic:
Certified organic is the purest form of natural It’s why we don’t need a long from list list on our labels to assure customers of our natural integrity. Organic ingredients are pure and potent Because they are minimally processed, organic ingredients maintain their natural integrity and potency. Organic is better for the Earth. Ingredients sustainably grown, harvested and processed without synthetic chemicals and pesticides are better for farmers, manufacturers and all living things.

Why no free from list on our labels?
We only use ingredients in our products that are derived from nature. In fact, many of our top selling products contain just one simple, natural ingredient. And a vast majority of our products are certified to an organic standard which means that by definition they cannot contain hundreds of prohibited ingredients. Despite this, we do sometimes get asked about specific ingredients. Our Organic Cotton
We are also committed to creating cotton personal care products made with the purest natural cotton available. Our cotton products are certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which is recognized as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from certified organic raw materials. It ensures our cotton products are manufactured without hazardous chemicals and that factory workers are paid fair wages and have a safe work environment. In addition, the Natural Cotton seal on our packaging indicates that our cotton is harvested responsibly – from seed and soil preparation to weed management – in a way that protects the environment. It also ensures that the production and whitening processes we use are non-toxic and low impact.
Always Cruelty-free
We value the life of all living things and are firmly committed to never testing on animals. We are proud to be certified cruelty-free through the Leaping Bunny Program, the only internationally recognized program of its kind. We consider Leaping Bunny to be the premier cruelty-free certification because of their strict no-animal testing standards, robust supplier monitoring systems and annual auditing procedures. Not only do we not test our finished products on animals, but our ingredient suppliers also commit to not animal testing the ingredients they source for us.
