Earth Day is right around the corner
As we get closer to April 22, I have to admit I’m proud to be part of a company that uses pure, potent, undiluted ingredients in every product.
And this month, as Chief Sustainability Officer, I believe it’s my role to celebrate Sky Organics’ commitment to the world around us.
So let’s mobilize. I invite you to take action with me. I ask you to cut back on plastics, reuse whatever packaging you can, and help build a better planet. With Sky Organics by your side, I ask you to showcase your own commitment to certified organic ingredients and sustainability.
How does that sound? To help inspire you, I’ll talk about what we’re doing to reflect our values.
Here are five ways Sky Organics supports the planet—

01Maintaining our B Corp certification!
In 2023, Sky Organics became a certified B Corporation. For the first time ever, we joined forces with a global nonprofit network—B Lab—that agreed to hold us accountable. Basically, they evaluated us on metrics like governance, environment, community, workers, and customers. And B Lab agreed that we met their high standards of social and environmental impact!
This was a real cause for celebration, and a milestone our team sincerely appreciates. We’re grateful for the recognition and are committed to our status as a certified B Corp.
Sky Organics stands by our purpose beyond profit, and we’re happy to mark our first year working with B Lab. No matter how things progress, we make a conscious effort to continuously improve.
02Planting 5x extra trees with Ecologi this month!
It’s no secret that we love working with Ecologi and supporting their missin. This partnership resonates with us—because for every order that comes through our website, Ecologi will plant a tree! In 2023, our work resulted in more than 22,000 new trees planted in countries like Ecuador, Tanzania, and Kenya. By playing even a small role in fighting the climate crisis, we’re proud to spread awareness and promote reforestation.
There’s something to be said for working with any group whose mission is to fight climate change. Ecologi does a fantastic job of restoring forests in underserved communities all around the world and we’re so excited to double down on our commitment in honor of Earth Month. 03Making recycling easy with PACT Collective!
Recycling conserves energy and natural resources. It also lowers greenhouse gas emissions and leads to less waste going to landfills. But it isn’t always simple, and in some cases, recycling can be a little confusing. This is where our partnership with PACT Collective comes in. With our partner’s help, we’re making recycling not only easier, but more accessible.
First, we’ve posted clear post-use recycling instructions on our website for every product we sell.. We’ve also shed light on what to do with hard-to-recycle components like pumps and droppers.
Through this partnership, consumers can mail in up to 10 Sky Organics products—and Pact Collective will break them down responsibly. We’ll even cover all of your collection and recycling expenses. At Sky Organics, we make a conscious effort to develop short ingredients lists that are entirely free from synthetics and harsh chemicals. We’re also transparent about our commitment to USDA Organic Certification, which is yet another way we’re protecting the planet. With serious compliance and enforcement around this certification, consumers can absolutely trust what we put into our personal care products.
I mean it when I say our company uses certified organic ingredients as much as we can. And when material limitations get in the way, we proudly use pure, natural and ethically-sourced alternatives!

We’re really excited about what this new partnership means for us—and for you. Bluebird Climate will help us stay informed while we navigate ever-changing regulatory and customer demands.
From recyclability to insights on our products’ carbon footprint, our newest partner has us covered. They’ll even help us gather key sustainability data and show us how we compare to others in the personal care industry. We’ll be sure to keep you posted as our relationship progresses
